A warm welcome to Simple Strength!

Feb 12, 2024

A warm welcome to you!

First of all, can I applaud you in deciding to look for options to help you in your decision to work
on being the best you can be for life. We’ve all heard the messages about ‘use it or lose it’
around mobility and the importance of supporting health and well-being with good lifestyle
choices. Current biological studies reveal that from the age of around 40 we start to see
changes related to wear and tear on our bodies, and if we’re not focusing on staying strong, we
lose muscle mass, and with it, strength, balance and mobility.

With our growing sedentary work/lifestyles, niggly aches and pains become more frequent, and
by the time we reach our 50’s, the ageing process accelerates. The good news is that we can
slow this process down and even regain some time and become biologically ‘younger’ than our
birthday age! Wow! Who wouldn’t want that? It starts with rebuilding lean muscle mass and with
it comes flexibility, energy, balance and vitality for whatever your life brings, because strong
muscles are good for every other system in your bodies. The good news doesn’t stop there,
because it’s not as hard as you might think!

If you’re like me, you will have tried different approaches to getting fit but after a while the
enthusiasm dwindles and things were allowed to get in the way. Surveys reveal common reasons
for this process. The Simple Strength team have studied these findings and based on these,
have developed an accessible, achievable and supported approach to help you not only succeed in your endeavor, but enjoy the journey, and better still, see results and make it a lifelong habit.

The Simple Strength approach is just that! It’s not complicated or excessive and you can do it
at your own pace, and in your own space. It requires minimal time of around 30 mins, at least
twice a week and uses simple equipment. There will also be little snippets of the best available
information and advice on topics that support strong muscles and a healthy lifestyle, such as
nutrition, breathing, sleep habits, menopause and more.

So, come and join our supportive community of like-minded people! We all know, in our honest
moments, that, you can’t go for gold without focused work, determination and a positive
attitude. And here’s a snippet for you to ponder – there is no moving forward without
accountability - so if you come with us, tell someone what you’ve decided, and better still, get
them to go pick up the challenge too! The reward from your muscles will be a renewed, overall
body strength. O, the joy!
